Students starting first internship training

On Monday, August 15, our students will have the first opportunity to taste the climate of the real business. All of them have been sent to reputable companies in Monrovia for a 3 weeks internship to learn about the structure, the processes and the organization of modern organized companies. Also hands on training will be provided by the company’s trainers. After this period the students return to school for 8 weeks before they start to the next 3 weeks internship.

We are very grateful for the responsible support the companies are providing to the school and the students.

These are our partners for the first internship session:

  • AFRICA MOTORS SERVICE CENTER
  • PRESTIGE MOTOR COMPANY
  • AUTO ELEGANCE LIBERIA
  • AUTO CITY SERVICE CENTER
  • LIBERTY AIRLINES
  • SARVO GARAGE

New donation of the State Vocational Training Center Wasserburg a. Inn

In July this year HELOG received a generous donation of two fully functioning automobile engines (BMW and Toyota) each mounted on a mobile rack, from the State Vocational Training Center Wasserburg a. Inn / Germany, including an electronic test stand which will enable the students to simulate malfunctions on engines, and to find instructions on how to rectify or repair the problems.

We now have the similar equipment available as it is used in every modern automobile service center. This is another step forward to provide excellent trained engineers to the high skill demanding industry.
