Flashlight #4 – Thanks to donors/New Appointment
Dear valuable Reader,
We are happy to announce that the State Vocational Training School „Ludwig Bölkow“ in Donauwörth/Germany has donated a BOSCH Electro-Pneumatical Exercise and Simulation device to HELOG Academy. It is intended to be hand over to HELOG Academy Liberia with the next shipment. This training device is complementing the already existing FESTO Hydraulic exercise system and will significantly extend the capacity of HELOG Academy Liberia in teaching this technology.

NEW APPOINTMENT
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jackson N. Wonde to the role of Manager for Public relation issues, liaisons to the NGO sector and acquisition of new opportunities.
Jackson Newray Wonde comes to Helog Academy with vast experience from International organizations, government and the private sector. He is the author of two books and served as Editor of the Liberian Times Magazine as well as columnist for other newspapers and magazines.
He is a professional humanitarian worker always focused on the wellbeing of his beneficiaries.
Jackson worked abroad specifically in Guinea as IT Specialist for reputable INGOs during emergency and relief periods.
As consultant, he worked on the USAID Advancing Youth project for several international institutions and held positions as Monitoring and Evaluation consultant for international and public organizations.
Mr. Wonde holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass communication from the University of Liberia with MCSE Certificate, Associate Degree in Mass Communication from Conakry-Universite de Kofe Annan and an A+ certificate from CompuTech Informatique Internationale Conakry Guinea.
In many other functions in the CSR field Mr. Wonde proofed being a team player and the right person to integrate in our team.
